and competitions of any sport
The basic requirement is the issuance of the athlete’s health card regardless of their age. The compulsory issue of the athlete’s health card has been established following a joint ministerial decision by the Ministers of Sport – Culture, Health and Digital Governance.
The issuance of the athlete’s health card is mainly made by a specialized cardiologist or clinical doctors specialties that have attended post-educational seminars of E.K.A.E. on issues pre-competitive control athletes.
For the issuance of the health card athlete required:
Clinical examination,
Personal and medical history,
Electrocardiogram.
The validity of the card is for one (1) year, renewed by the same procedure and is a personal document of each athlete.
